Seasprites Email List CDR David "Dangerous Dave" Diamond, USNR (Ret.) Seasprites List Admin and Keeper This list was originally developed by CAPT Earle Rogers and the original list was entered and hosted by CDR Mike Brattland from NHA. The list is for providing rapid release of information concerning Seasprite reunions or timely information such as notices of fallen members or serious illness. Any message sent to the following address will be sent to every member on the list. Seasprites@helobubbas.com If you just chose respond, that response also goes to EVERY person on this list. In the body of each message it will list who originated the message and you have the option to just respond to the originator. Please be mindful that many members will not want their inboxes filled with email conversations between a few members. The emails generated with this address do not list the addresses or names of the other members. Attachments are limited to 2MB max, don't fill other people's inboxes with large files. If you have something that exceeds this limit that is necessary to share, we can arrange to post it on a website and provide a link. The server will automatically reject any .exe, .bat, or other types of files associated with possible hacking activities. You will be able to find that information in a document similar to a squadron roster I send as a .pdf attachment to all members of the mailing list quarterly. If you haven’t already, please provide (by using the email address in the signature below) as much of the following information you are comfortable with me sharing with the rest of the members: Final Rank and Rate (if applicable) Name Callsign Email address Current city and state Phone number (XXX)XXX-XXXX Assigned Seasprite Units (In Numerical Order) Spouse Name If you are from a Non- US service like Poland, Australia, New Zealand, Egypt, or Peru, You are welcome, please just let me know. If you are currently on the list and want to be removed, please contact me. I am building a list of people that still want to be provided reunion information, but don’t want to remain on this list. I can also provide you the option to remain on the roster, but not on the mailing list. The most recent quarterly roster can also be requested with the email in the signature. Welcome Aboard! Using Seasprites
To post a message to all the list members, send email to seasprites@helobubbas.com. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Seasprites
Subscribe to Seasprites by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
